The deadline to link PAN with Aadhaar was primarily on March 31, 2021. Yet again the government extended the deadline to link PAN with Aadhaar by three more months to June 30, 2021, because of the difficulties arising out of the COVD-19 pandemic.
This extension is a big relief for those who are yet to link their PAN with Aadhaar. Because, if you not linked your PAN with Aadhaar by the time limit your PAN will become inoperative and you are accountable to pay a penalty.
Last time considering the coronavirus pandemic, the government extended the deadline to link PAN with Aadhaar from June 30, 2020, to March 31, 2021.
